The guest house is currently rated with 4 stars by Visit Britain.

8 bedrooms in total, 4 double en-suite rooms, 1 twin, 2 single en-suite rooms, and one room with private bathroom.

A high quality breakfast is provided to your choice from a wide range. Special dietary requirements can usually be catered for if notified in advance. Picnics and early breakfasts are available by special arrangement.

All rooms have colour TV, and coffee/tea making facilities.

The Cobblers is fully centrally heated and double glazed.

We have a fire/smoke detection system throughout and also carbon monoxide detecters are fitted.

Groups are most welcome, for whom evening meals can be provided by arrangement - full details on request. Additional rooms elsewhere within the town can be organised if advised in time.

Please note: We are a strictly no-smoking establishment.

Car parking is in our own off street car park (uncovered).

Guest Lounge with Birding/Natural history library.

Card tables, games and jigsaws in the lounge and conservatory.

Internet connection & computer are provided for web browsing in lounge, together with wireless broadband.

Cycles can be stored locked under cover.
